About Your New Employer:

Our client who are seeking a Business Analyst, to join their Dublin based office in a hybrid working model, and on a full-time permanent contract.

About Your New Job:

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilise statistical techniques and software tools to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders and management.
  • Lead or participate in projects and change activities including production support.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise tasks, allocate resources, and manage project risks.
  • Draft Test Plans, Test Books and conduct User Acceptance Testing.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance of internal teams and third parties.
  • Identify deviations from targets and work with relevant teams to address issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop performance tracking mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate existing operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to streamline operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for various operational processes.
  • Provide training and support to team members to ensure adherence to SOPs and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operational processes and systems.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Regularly review and update risk assessments to adapt to changing business environments.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management) are a plus.
  • Proven experience (3 years) in operations analysis, process improvement, or related roles in the financial services industry, cross border-insurance preferable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Python, or other statistical software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive results.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices is desirable.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard methodologies for process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management) is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, manage tight deadlines whilst not compromising on quality.
  • Ability to multitask & priorities queries.
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Willingness to take in new responsibilities.
  • Need to be able to speak fluent Italian.
