The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily activity of the HR function including; ER, Comps and Bens, Resourcing, Training & Development and Business Partnering.
The responsibilities of the successful HR Manager job:
Ensure that necessary HR processes, policies & systems are in place and effectively communicated internally.
Partner closely with the Director of Site Operations to maximize employee engagement across the site.
Take prime responsibility for dealing with difficult employee situations, giving guidance to management on grievance and disciplinary situations.
Develop and implement HR Metrics for the site.
Provide direction & leadership to the Site HR Administrator while continually developing her exposure to HR best practices.
Attract & retain employees to meet business objectives.
Build strong relationships with other HR practitioners in the community while utilizing access to organizations like CIPD & IBEC for the benefit of the HR function on site.
- Keep constantly up to date on any changes in Labour legislation and ensure that Ireland HR Policies & practices are updated.
- Building open and trusting relationships throughout all levels of the organisation.
The skills and competencies required for this HR Manager Job:
HR or Business related degree with at least 5 years experience in a progressive HR function. The last the 2-3 at HR BP or Manager level.
Demonstrable detailed working knowledge of the function of HR.
Proven track record in relationship building, strong communication, presentation, influencing & negotiating skills.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
Highest levels of integrity.
