About Your New Job
- Handling Parts: Manage a high volume of different parts coming in and going out.
- Forklift Operation: Drive a forklift to load and unload goods, ensuring timely and organized paperwork.
- Unloading: Experience with unloading oversized pallets and stillages.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand their needs and organize paperwork for dispatching items.
- Stock Management: Count and organize stock, using software packages to allocate and forecast future stock requirements.
- Efficiency: Proactively organize the store to maximize efficiency for manufacturing and customer orders.
- Maintenance: Perform general maintenance duties around the factory as needed.
What Skills You Need
- Experience: Previous experience in a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with parts, preferably from the motor trade, manufacturing, or similar industries.
- Forklift License: Ability to drive a forklift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communication: Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
