About Your New Job
- Dealing with parts: High volume of different parts coming in and going out.
- Knowledge of parts: Preferably from motor trade, manufacturing, etc., understanding axles, wheels, bolts, etc.
- Fork truck operation: Load and unload, organize paperwork in a timely manner.
- Handling oversized pallets and stillages.
- Customer interaction: Understand technicalities of parts, organize paperwork for dispatch.
- Stock counting and organization: Use software to allocate and forecast stock requirements.
- Proactive store organization: Efficient assembly bay picking for manufacturing and goods out for customers.
- General maintenance duties around the factory.
- Issue purchase orders for consumables and other stock as required.
- Supervise junior team members in the stores team.
- Full training provided.
What Skills You Need
- Good working knowledge of machinery.
- Experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of engineering, plant machinery, or agricultural machinery is an advantage.
- Ability to manage team members.
- Proficient in computer operation.
- Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
