Warehouse/Operations Manager

About Your New Job

  • Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to the warehouse operations and logistics teams. Develop KPIs and reporting structures, and foster a strong performance culture through employee engagement and talent development.
  • Ensure the processing of products to the highest quality standards. Implement continuous improvement principles, develop new policies and procedures, and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations.
  • Manage the Cork site, including supplier contracts, equipment databases, and emergency notification processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, Good Distribution Practices, and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures and collaborate with other departments to address quality issues.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers, oversee deliveries and pickups, and support the logistics team in freight and customs management.
  • Drive sustainable business strategies, ensure health and safety requirements are met, and support regular safety training for warehouse staff.
  • Monitor and control operational costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement process improvements.
  • Implement and utilise warehouse management systems  for efficient operations.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Previous warehouse management experience is essential.
  • Exposure to medical device regulation is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SAP is advantageous.
  • High motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong organisational and self-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks within a busy environment.
