My client within the Energy space have a requirement for a VAT specialist coming from a multi national background
About Your New Job
- Ensure the Company completes its VAT filings accurately and by the specified delivery dates.
- Manages large volume of data for the preparation VAT returns.
- Liaises with the in-house Tax Specialist and Tax advisors to ensure accurate reporting
- Mantains VAT controls logs
- Prepares VAT reconciliations and claims on a timely manner to minismise cashflow impact for the business
- Supports with implementation of e-invoicing regulations
- Prepares SII reconciliations or similar real life reporting where applicable
- Prepares Intrastat reporting and other indirect tax filings as required per jurisdiction
- Support with VAT tax audits including responding to information requests
What skills you need
- Qualified or Part qualified accountant with strong VAT
- Experience within industry or practice with VAT reporting
- International VAT exposure
- Strong attention to detail
