My client, a leading insurance organisation is seeking an Underwriting Controls & Governance Manager for a 12 Month contract for their central Dublin office (2 days in office and 3 days remote). The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Underwriting Operations and will be responsible for the oversight of the controls and governance functions of the Underwriting Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing the Oversight & Governance policy.
  • Overseeing the Quality Assurance framework in collaboration with Underwriting.
  • Acting as the Business Assurance Coordinator, maintaining Business Process documentation.
  • Managing data governance for underwriting and driving regulatory, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Leading audit coordination

Requirements for the role

  • Relevant professional (ACII preferable) and /or 3rd level qualification
  • Proven track record of experience within a non-life insurance company or intermediary.
  • Knowledge of technical, regulatory and operational requirements related to non-life insurance company

Competitive base salary (75-85K base DOE), 20% bonus and benefits package and the opportunity to work with a well-established and progressive company.
