About Your New Job
- Assist the Delivery Driver: Ride along and help with the delivery of miscellaneous goods to various sites.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, adhere to safety regulations, and report any vehicle malfunctions or incidents promptly.
- Handle Cargo: Properly load and unload cargo, ensuring securement and compliance with weight limits, and inspect cargo for damage.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route and schedule, and unload products into designated customer storage areas.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
What Skills You Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift, and handle weights between 10-90 pounds.
- Adaptability: Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English are preferable.
- First Aid Certification: May be beneficial.
