About Your New Job As A Technical Services Co-Ordinator
- Team Management: Lead a team of fabric technicians responsible for routine preventative, reactive, and remedial building fabric maintenance, including minor civil repairs, furniture repairs, equipment removal, carpentry, plumbing, painting, joinery, facade maintenance, drain or gutter maintenance, sweeping, snow or ice clearance, door maintenance, and roof maintenance.
- Coordination: Oversee the maintenance of lifts, fall arrest systems, automatic doors and gates, and swing lanes, ensuring all PM reports are received, remedial actions are addressed, and repairs are completed promptly.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all health, safety, and environmental requirements are met before work commencement and that all activities are carried out within agreed timelines, adhering to safe systems of work.
- Project Management: Manage small projects from planning to commissioning, including ordering parts, installation, testing, and documentation.
- CMMS Utilization: Update and utilize site CMMS systems for recording work activities and assist in maintaining clean and tidy buildings and work areas.
What Skills You Need For Your New Job As A Technical Services Co-Ordinator
- Facilities Management Experience: Proven experience in facilities management or the building services industry/consultancy.
- M&E Equipment Expertise: Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment and Building Management Systems.
- Carpentry Skills: Solid carpentry skills – ideally possessing a trade cert in this field.
