Technical Services Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for aviation? My client is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work across Dublin, facility within a leading European aviation network.

About the Role

As a Technical Services Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth aircraft engine lease transitions. Your responsibilities will include technical condition evaluations, records review and preparing standardized documentation. This is a fast-paced, operational role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate aircraft engine performance, operation, and historical documentation to determine maintenance requirements.
  • Identify and resolve outstanding documentation issues, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Work closely with internal teams to review and approve engine records.
  • Liaise with aircraft operators (lessees) and customers (lessors) to ensure smooth lease transitions.
  • Assess and recommend necessary maintenance actions based on engine condition.
  • Confirm and verify engine maintenance has been properly executed.
  • Generate comprehensive outgoing documentation, including Remaining Life information and Service Bulletin Status.
  • Maintain and improve engine databases, ensuring efficient data processing.
  • Analyse and summarize engine paperwork to support aircraft engine valuations.
  • Provide technical guidance on engine fleet configurations and generate fleet status reports.
  • Support other technical teams as needed based on customer demands.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Degree or Master’s in an engineering-related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with technical drawings and aircraft engine knowledge is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in training as required.
