Our client, a leading Galway-based practice, is looking for a qualified tax professional to join their growing team and work closely with the Group Head of Tax. This job provides a successful candidate with the opportunity to provide tax advice to a variety of personal and corporate clients.
About Your New Job
- Delivering the firm’s compliance services for a portfolio of personal tax and corporate clients.
- Reviewing audit and accounts files for tax points and identifying/advising on tax planning opportunities.
- Preparation, completion and review of VAT, VIES and Return of Trading Detail forms.
- Acting as a client contact in relation to tax matters and maintaining/developing client relationships.
- Completion of consultancy assignments and participating in other ad-hoc advisory projects.
- Researching technical tax issues for partners & managers.
What Skills You Need
- AITI/CTA newly qualified or with 1-2 year’s PQE or more.
- Good technical knowledge of tax legislation and previous exposure to corporation tax.
- Capable of working independently is crucial for this job.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an attention to detail.

- Strong Salary Package - €50,000 - €60,000 DOE.
