About Your New Job
- As Supply Chain Manager, your job will be to take responsibility for the end-to-end management of materials and products, including the warehouse.
- Developing systems/processes to support the business, including an ERP system.
- Ensuring a safe, efficient and supportive operation of the company’s warehouse function.
- Taking responsibility for the ordering of raw materials to ensure production processes can be completed in line with customer requirements.
- Overseeing order quantity and patterns to ensure costs are optimised for the business.
- Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies and monitoring their performance to maintain cost-effective practices.
- Leading the planning function to ensure production efficiencies are maximised.
- Any other duties as required.
What Skills You Need
- For this Supply Chain Manager job, you will have 5+ years’ relevant experience ideally in a food manufacturing environment.
- You will also have a relevant third level qualification and ideally will have worked in a Lean environment.
