An award-winning, multifaceted Construction, Civil Engineering, and Development company based in Cork are currently looking for a Site Manager.

About your new job

Ensure adherence to health and safety and environmental policies and ensure safe systems of work are planned and implemented on assigned projects.
Ensure adherence to the Company’s quality procedures including production of the project quality plan and completion of the necessary project documentation.
Attend sub-contractor and client meetings as required.
Ensure detailed project programmes are drawn up and adhered to on all assigned projects.
Provide technical support at tender stage.
Taking the lead in design management and review on design and build projects.
Manage the allocation of trades and labour, employed and sub-contracted.
Adhere to the Integrated Management System (IMS).

What skill/experience you need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
Over 5 years’ industry experience – construction background is an advantage.
Experience of managing all SHEQ aspects involved in the construction of large schemes.
Experience within the water industry is an advantage.
A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence – Class B.
Proficient IT Skills – Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Project & AutoCAD
Driven to help the team hit key targets & to make deadlines.
Great communication & interpersonal skills.
