SITE MANAGER – CIVILS -
Projects vary in location from Durrow in Laois to Lucan in Dublin and Edenderry in Offaly.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Senior Management on Civils projects.
- Manage day-to-day on-site activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Review and interpret drawings and specifications, reporting errors/omissions to the design team promptly.
- Monitor construction quality, workmanship, and materials, recording all details in the document control system.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and best practices.
- Assist with Health & Safety and Quality management on-site, including overseeing subcontractors, plant operators’ tickets, safe passes, and machinery certifications.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors on-site.
- Prepare and issue daily/weekly project progress reports.
- Liaise with Clients and Design Teams as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience with a proven track record in delivering complex Civils projects.
- Full Irish Driving Licence.
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling certifications (additional certifications are a plus).
- Training in SLG, LUGS, MSIC, etc., is beneficial.
- Experience in Traffic & Pedestrian Management (preferred but not essential).
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Preferably based in North Leinster/Midlands region.
