We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer with proven Setting Out experience to join our dynamic construction team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of construction projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
About Your New Role
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately set out site works in accordance with project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Use total stations, GPS equipment, and other surveying tools to perform precise measurements.
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Supervise on-site activities to ensure adherence to the project plan and specifications.
- Monitor and report on the progress of works, identifying potential delays and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure work complies with design specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain clear and accurate site records, including daily reports and setting-out data.
- Review design plans and drawings for accuracy and highlight discrepancies where necessary
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with demonstrable setting out expertise.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is desirable.
