About Your New Job

  • Oversee Electrical and Lighting Systems: As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new installations.
  • Perform Maintenance and Repairs: You will check, repair, and replace functional components such as valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
  • Ensure Safety and Efficiency: Assure that all equipment is maintained and operating safely, and provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
  • Proactive Maintenance: Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Lead by Example: Model behaviors consistent with the company's values and impact the quality of your work and that of your team.

What Skills You Need

  • Educational Background: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Licenses and Physical Requirements: Qualified Electrician and a valid Driver's license. Ability to meet physical requirements such as stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience, strong organizational skills, and an inquisitive mindset.
