About your new job as a Senior R&D Engineer:

  • Contribute to the development, improvement, and extension of the company's technology and intellectual property portfolio.
  • Lead and provide design, development, and technical input to development projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Author and input to design documentation, including technical reports, product specifications, risk management, and quality documentation.
  • Resolve technical uncertainties and challenges to advance product development.
  • Stay updated on disease states, clinical needs, and current devices and technologies.
  • Ensure team members are aware of their roles and communicate results clearly.
  • Cooperate with QA in developing test, verification, and validation procedures.

What skill/experience you need as a Senior R&D Engineer:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the medical device industry, preferably in product development.
  • Proficiency in finite element modeling software is desirable.
  • Experience in CAD, statistical tools, and rapid prototyping is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of biomechanics and mechanical analysis & design.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
