About your new job as a Senior R&D Engineer:
- Contribute to the development, improvement, and extension of the company's technology and intellectual property portfolio.
- Lead and provide design, development, and technical input to development projects from concept to commercialization.
- Author and input to design documentation, including technical reports, product specifications, risk management, and quality documentation.
- Resolve technical uncertainties and challenges to advance product development.
- Stay updated on disease states, clinical needs, and current devices and technologies.
- Ensure team members are aware of their roles and communicate results clearly.
- Cooperate with QA in developing test, verification, and validation procedures.
What skill/experience you need as a Senior R&D Engineer:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the medical device industry, preferably in product development.
- Proficiency in finite element modeling software is desirable.
- Experience in CAD, statistical tools, and rapid prototyping is desirable.
- Good knowledge of biomechanics and mechanical analysis & design.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
