About Your New Job

• Guide and Motivate: Lead a talented, diverse, and high-performing engineering team responsible for the design and development of pioneering transcatheter medical devices and procedures.
• Strategic Planning: Participate in the ongoing development and scaling of the organization, ensuring the necessary skillsets are in place to deliver predictable outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Grow and nurture relationships across sites and functions in a large, multi-site, matrixed organization.
• Project Management: Support and ensure the achievement of project objectives and milestones, contributing to project decisions using personal expertise, customer input, and strong engineering and clinical judgment.
• Mentorship and Development: Actively mentor, coach, and ensure career development plans are in place for direct reports.

What Skills You Need

• Educational Background: Level 8 Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 7 years of relevant direct engineering experience within a similar environment. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Managerial Experience: 5 years of direct managerial experience of engineers and a demonstrated history of progressive management experience.
• Team Building and Communication: Excellent team building, communication, people management, and management skills.
• Program Management: Extensive program management skills are a distinct advantage.
• Medical Device Experience: Experienced in the medical device market with a proven, results-driven record of accomplishment.
