Join a leading healthcare technology company as a Senior Project Engineer on a 12-month Contract in Galway. Your role will entail leading a team of engineers in all areas of new product development such as Process design, Automation and Project management.

About your new job as a Senior Project Engineer

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities for customer complaint investigation and root cause determination.
  • Develop and advance processes, focusing on innovation and quality improvement.
  • Oversee process design, characterisation, and validation, ensuring robust solutions.
  • Manage projects effectively using tools like Six Sigma and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Liaise with vendors and sub-tier suppliers to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Address technical challenges using statistical tools and engineering studies.
  • Identify risks and mitigate them during the design process.
  • Lead initiatives to create state-of-the-art automated and semi-automated systems.
  • Utilize modern technologies like 3D printing and Augmented Reality for process improvement.
  • Work with Design, Reliability, and Manufacturability methodologies (DRM).
  • Document and share learnings across project and functional teams.

What skill/experience you need as a Senior Project Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic, electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience working with electro-mechanical medical devices.
  • Process design and Product design knowledge
  • Project management skills
