About your new job:
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Senior Operations Manager will oversee and maintain the day-to-day operations across the cleaning division for all current and potential new contracts in the Republic of Ireland. This job requires you to have fantastic leadership and communication skills and have proven experience with managing large multi-site and diverse teams across the country.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and ensure service delivery is of a 5* high quality service.
  • Effectively motivate and lead a team of business managers, within a defined geographical area and ensure they deliver and maintain a high-quality service throughout their business.
  • Ensure that all financial targets are achieved within a framework of absolute financial control.
  • Efficient financial management of client business within agreed budgets providing clients with a financial breakdown and information as required.
  • Support business development and retention of existing business in conjunction with the sales function.
  • Have full P&L responsibilities for the services being managed and accountability to deliver against company budgets.
  • Ensure all sites adhere to contractual obligations for review and governance meetings.
  • Monitor KPI reporting, reviewing contents of client meetings and deal effectively with any underperformance.
  • Select, recruit, induct, develop and measure performance of contract team.
  • Ensure talent review and succession planning process is adhered to across the contract.
  • Ensure a positive level of employee engagement across the contract.
  • Implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives to ensure, in terms of calibre, experience and number the necessary resource and structures are in place at all sites within cluster to meet business needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a full, clean and valid driving licence.
  • 2-5 years’ experience working in a senior management role.
  • Proven experience in managing large multi-site, multi -disciplined teams across a country.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Adept at developing commercially viable solutions based on rigorous techniques to understand client and contractual needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees at all levels.
  • Ability to achieve set standards and operate to performance criteria, for example health and safety, hygiene.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.

Desirable but not a requirement:

  • Previous experience with Procure Wizard.
  • Previous experience in the implementation and management of Timegate
