Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About Your New Job

• You will provide technical leadership on product and process issues.
• You must lead technical improvements.
• You must lead process improvement programs.
• You must apply structured and systematic methodologies.
• You must liaise with quality and engineering teams, within the plant and externally.
• You must participate in the phase review process and the NPE meetings with respect to new products.
• You must support the manufacturing team in its business objectives of quality, output and cost.
• You must maintain a valid capacity model in co-operation with the line supervisor and conduct adequate advance planning for required capital.
• You must provide leadership on lean initiatives.
• You must provide technical leadership and guidance for technicians on the team.
• You must develop and implement documentation, which complies with GMP in conjunction with the other team members.
• You must plan projects to support projects, product/process transfer etc.
• You must evaluate EHS new equipment/processes/chemicals for environmental impact/effect to eliminate impacts / effects.
• You must demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality.
• You must understand and comply with regulations governing the quality systems.

What Skills You Need

• HETAC Level 8 qualification (240 ECTS points) in engineering or a relevant field, with relevant experience
• Good technical capabilities, communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.
• People Management experience is advantageous
• Project Management experience
