12-month contractor position.

About Your New Job

  • Plan, Execute, and Validate Projects: Work across the matrix to ensure smooth material and process changes, avoiding line-down situations.
  • Design Manufacturing Processes: Create efficient production layouts, procedures, and sequences for assemblies, equipment installation, and material handling.
  • Optimize Plant Layout: Design machine arrangements to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure Product Quality: Incorporate inspection and test requirements, inspect machinery performance, and initiate corrective actions to maintain high product standards.
  • Develop Statistical Process Control: Implement and refine manufacturing processes using statistical techniques.
  • Provide Engineering Guidance: Advise on design concepts and specifications to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all processes and procedures comply with relevant regulations.

What Skills You Need

  • Education: Minimum Level 8 Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in relevant roles, ideally within the Medtech sector.
  • Must Haves: Lean Manufacturing, Automation, Polymer Processing and Validation experience.
  • Project Management Certification: PMP, IPMA Level C, or equivalent preferred.
  • Team Player: Effective and proactive in cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with technical knowledge of materials, processes, and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Project, MS Office (Excel), Data analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Self-Driven: Energetic, focused, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and managing conflict.
  • Leadership Expectations: Critical thinking, high standards, change leadership, operational excellence, accountability, and ethical behavior.
