About Your New Job

  • As Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of complex, technical challenges and manage diversified tasks supporting manufacturing within the Hydrophilic Wire department.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated, high-performing team, setting priorities to maximize production performance.
  • Actively participate in Operations Tier Management, driving alignment between Engineering and Operations.
  • Identify, specify, introduce, manage, and validate new equipment and innovative technologies in production.
  • Provide technical input and leadership on troubleshooting, process improvements, and strategic projects.
  • Maintain and improve key production indicators, drive awareness of technological advancements, and work closely with cross-functional management on strategic objectives.
  • Supervise and develop a team of Engineers and Technicians, contribute to special projects, and act as a role model for supporting staff.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Engineering or a technical field related to production/manufacturing; advanced degree or Ph.D. advantageous.
  • 6+ years’ relevant experience (or equivalent relevant experience at Master’s/Ph.D. level).
  • Desired: Experience in extrusion and/or coatings (not essential).
  • Proven experience managing technical teams (Technician or Engineer reports), with strong leadership and group management skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills, proficiency in problem solving and process development (Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt).
  • Skills in SolidWorks (including simulation/flow simulation), ISO and ANSI drawings.
  • Experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrically powered mechanisms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Strong IT and software proficiency (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
