Senior Manager Investment Risk

My client, a global financial services company is seeking a Senior Manager Investment Risk for their office in central Dublin, hybrid model of working (2 days in office) for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The global risk function is responsible for oversight of the client’s investment risk profile of Irish and European domiciled funds. The team ensures that all aspects of Investment Risk including market risk, fund liquidity risk and fund counterparty risk meet the client expectations. The Senior Manager for Investment Risk will report to the Head of Investment Risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate is expected to focus on the implementation of the relevant investment risk frameworks in the region.
• The individual will be responsible for oversight of operational risk within the investment process.
• Proactively identifies sources of potential risk and works to mitigate such risks.

Requirements for the role:

• 5 Years plus proven investment risk within an asset management or financial services firm.
• Understanding of the key aspects of investment risk in fund management.
• Ideally a good knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset products.
• Understanding of Private Asset classes is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of the regulatory framework within fund management.
