Senior Learning and Development Specialist
Location: Galway City
Type of contract: Permanent, Office Hours, this is a hybrid working job opportunity with 3 days per week on site

About Your New Job
- You’ll be consulting with the wider team to maintain engaging learning and development solutions. Alot of the L&D programs are established and already developed.
- You will facilitate both virtual and in person (instructor led) training. This will include New Hire Onboarding, Leadership Development, continuous professional development and team building. People management experience is not essential for this role.
- The ideal applicant will be some-one who stays current with L&D industry trends and best practices and enjoys developing new ways to improve Talent Development.
- You will market all available learnings via weekly e-mails and the company intranet sites.
- You will be passionate about L&D for both individuals and teams within an organisation.
What Skills/Experience You Need
- Bachelor degree (Level 8 or above) in HR, L&D or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of directly related work experience in a L&D job. Preferably within a Medical Device company or a Manufacturer.
- Great IT skills including; Microsoft office and Sharepoint.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Great communication skills, this person will also look after internal communication of L&D opportunities.
