Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

Out client provides climate-controlled solutions to move refrigerated food, medicines and other perishables around the world

About Your New Job   

• Provide EH&S support for the Truck & Trailer value streams to world-class standards ensuring that products and deliveries are built in the safest and most efficient manner
• Manage the site’s ISO standards, 45001,14001,15001,14064 standards and co-ordinate key activities and audits
• Manage incident investigation process on site and report to regulatory and corporate bodies as required.
• Co-ordinate with operations’ teams to ensure corrective actions are identified and implemented

What Skills You Need

• Honours Degree in Health and Safety or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred
• Strong all-round knowledge of EHS in the workplace
• Communication – builds cross-functional awareness; clearly communicates project team expectations; good influencing / negotiation / conflict resolution skills
