Senior DevOps Systems Engineer / Dublin (Hybrid) / Full-time / Permanent

About Your New Role

• You will be joining a team of System Engineers within the Development Operations Team
• You will be facilitating the deployment, maintenance and performance tuning of the award winning SaaS application
• You will be providing cloud engineering and DevOps support
• You will be designing and implementing solutions to meet the requirements of internal customers
• You will be monitoring performance, troubleshoot systems problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, patching, collaborating with System Engineers & Architects on optimization
• You will be providing on-call support for the Development Operations team in an outage situation
• You will be working as part of the team to ensure projects and goals are delivered to timelines
• You will be delivering ongoing maintenance of documentation relating to new and current systems throughout the organisation

What Skills You Need

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• Experience as Systems Engineer working with highly available production environments
• Extensive experience in working with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, DNS
• Experience working with Amazon Web Service technologies
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization (both technical and non-technical)
