Senior Accountant - Galway City
About Your New Employer:
Our client is a leading Accountancy practice based in Galway City, who is looking to hire an experienced, qualified senior Accountant to join and lead a small team.
About Your New Job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly management accounts to clients and provide valuable insights from these accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients in the provision of accounting services such as audit exempt and audited financial statements preparation.
- Prepare and file annual returns and abridged accounts with the CRO.
- Prepare and file Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns with Revenue.
- Prepare and file VAT and Payroll returns.
- Maintain books and records for bookkeeping/advisory clients.
- Utilise team of trainee accountants to deliver services, delegating and managing workload of junior staff.
What Skills You Will Need:
- Ideally 3+ years in practice.
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
