About Your New Job

  • As Retail Portfolio Manager, you will lead teams of underwriters, actuaries and data scientists to achieve departmental objectives in line with the Retail Lines Portfolio.
  • You will deliver pricing and underwriting activities that enhance financial performance and ensure strong customer outcomes, as well as ensuring compliance with Irish, UK and Group standards.
  • You will monitor business performance against KPIs, identify trends in sales and retention and develop data driven portfolio management tools.
  • The Retail Portfolio Manager will act as the business lead on cross-functional projects, providing updates to senior leaders on emerging risks and performance.

 

What Skills You Need

  • 5+ years experience in a pricing/underwriting management/ financial planning and control or risk role with proven performance management experience.
  • An experienced Insurance professional with insurance business knowledge and a with CIP qualification.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant business classes, underwriting performance metrics, and current legislation impacting the market.

 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
