Regional Facilities Manager - Munster Based - Up to €70,000 per annum + Vehicle
About Your New Employer
A leading facilities management, consultancy and professional services company is looking for a Facilities Manager to be based in the Munster region on a permanent basis.
This will serve as the primary point of contact for all escalations related to maintenance across leading commercial/retail stores in Munster.
About Your New Job
- Oversee the lifecycle replacement programme, including planning, budgeting, and executing asset upgrades across Ireland.
- Regularly assess asset conditions to identify risks and recommend timely replacements.
- Maintain an asset register with lifecycle data to support capital planning and investment decisions.
- Work with internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance, quality, and timely project completion.
- Ensure lifecycle works meet corporate standards, sustainability goals, and operational needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to store teams and maintenance providers.
- Track and report on budget performance, cost savings, and value engineering opportunities.
What Skills You Need
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Building Services, or Facilities Management preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a retail or commercial industry.
- Strong knowledge of Hard Services, building systems, and asset lifecycle planning.
- Experience in project management, contractor supervision, and budget control.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse technical data and produce clear, actionable reports.
- A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B
