About Your New Job

  • As a Quality Engineer III, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality by applying rigorous quality practices and maintaining robust systems.
  • You will be directly involved in the integration of new cutting-edge medical technologies, including process characterisation, validation, scale-up, and automation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal/external audits, facilitate risk management, and drive compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO/MDD/MDR).
  • You will lead root cause analysis of complex quality issues, select and apply appropriate statistical and problem-solving tools, and ensure timely disposition of non-conforming product.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, supporting knowledge sharing with internal teams and external partners across functions.
  • Evaluate new equipment and processes for safety, environmental impact, and overall effectiveness in partnership with Environmental Health & Safety.
  • Draft and maintain technical documentation, investigate complaint signals, and oversee change control activities.

What Skills You Need

  • Honours Bachelor’s degree (level 8) or higher in a STEM discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a quality engineering role within the medical device industry or another highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with process validation activities, Six Sigma, and Lean principles.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management, problem-solving methodologies, and internal/external audit participation.
