About Your New Job

  • Develop and Maintain Quality Standards: As a Quality Engineer II, you will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing: Ensure quality standards are in place by working closely with engineering and manufacturing functions.
  • Inspect, Test, and Evaluate: Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Design and Conduct Quality Assurance Tests: Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, conduct quality assurance tests, and perform statistical analysis to assess costs and determine responsibility for non-compliant products or materials.
  • Qualification and Validation Documentation: Design, author, review, approve, and execute qualification/validation documentation and cycle development studies in line with the standard approval process.
  • Ensure Compliance and Reliability: Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • Specialization Areas: May specialize in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

What Skills You Need

  • Experience: Proven experience in quality engineering, with a focus on developing and maintaining quality standards and protocols.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in devising and implementing inspection, testing, and evaluation methods, as well as conducting statistical analysis.
  • Documentation Skills: Experience in designing, authoring, reviewing, approving, and executing qualification/validation documentation.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of compliance requirements and reliability standards in quality engineering.
