About Your New Job as a Quality Engineer:

This particular job requires an engineer with strong experience in troubleshooting/problem solving in quality, continuous improvement, experience of managing CAPAs, leading audits and managing projects from beginning to end.

  • You will provide quality support for all outbound (including product release) activities, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • You will identify and resolve complex exceptions to work assignments.
  • Summarize, analyse, draw conclusions and make appropriate decisions from test results or other process related findings.
  • Have the responsibility and independent authority to make decisions related to product quality, including the disposition of non-conforming product.
  • Participate in Customer Complaints investigation for areas under your control.
  • You will continually seek to drive improvements in product and process quality.
  • Fully conversant with validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements including analysis of customer feedback and complaints.
  • You may participate directly in a new product/technology transfer to ensure compliance to all internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Use your knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality.
  • Possesses excellent collaboration skills and give technical guidance to Quality Technicians

What Skills You Need:

  • A Level 8 (NFQ) 240 credits degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Minimum four years of experience in a Quality Engineering job in the medical device industry.
  • Proven experience of managing projects from beginning to end.
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving and communication skills.
