About Your New Employer

In your job as Quality Engineer, you will be working for a Galway based Medical Device company where you will be working on life saving technologies.  

About Your New Job

  • Your job is to ensure that the quality management system including document control system, calibration system, internal audits and NCR/CAPA system is maintained
  • You will maintain control of nonconforming material and product
  • You will be responsible for developing Inspection Plans
  • In your new job you will provide technical support for the manufacture of existing products and the growth and development of new products 
  • You will monitor the suitability and effectiveness of the Quality System and assure compliance with current US and international regulations and ISO standards
  • You will identify opportunities to improve organizational systems and processes to save costs, improve efficiency, maintain compliance or increase customer satisfaction
  • Actively participate in specification development in relation to design input development
  • Provide guidance to project teams and engineers in the processing and development of protocols, reports, procedures, deviations and change requests on a day-to-day basis for identified projects
  • You will develop process validation plans, protocols, risk assessments and reports
  • You will manage and executes key elements of Production Sterilization and Product Release
  • Your job is to identify, interpret & manage changes in systems or procedures, which could potentially affect compliance as they relate to assigned project

What You Need

  • Honours Bachelor Degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience working within quality with knowledge of international and European regulations/standards 
  • 2 years experience working as a Quality Engineer
