About Your New Job
As the Qualified Accountant, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients in the provision of accounting services such as audit exempt and audited financial statements preparation.
- Utilise a team of trainee accountants to deliver services, delegating and managing the workload of junior staff.
- Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of advances in technology relevant to the accounting industry.
- Consistently improve and innovate to maintain a continuous improvement culture.
- Prepare and file annual returns and abridged accounts with the CRO.
- Prepare and file Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns with Revenue.
- Prepare and file VAT and Payroll returns.
- Maintain books and records for bookkeeping/advisory clients.
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly management accounts to clients and provide valuable insights from these accounts.
- Assist and train junior staff members.
What Skills You Need
- Ideally 2+ years in practice
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA (1/2 years)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
