About Your New Job

As the Qualified Accountant, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients in the provision of accounting services such as audit exempt and audited financial statements preparation.
  • Utilise a team of trainee accountants to deliver services, delegating and managing the workload of junior staff.
  • Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of advances in technology relevant to the accounting industry.
  • Consistently improve and innovate to maintain a continuous improvement culture.
  • Prepare and file annual returns and abridged accounts with the CRO.
  • Prepare and file Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns with Revenue.
  • Prepare and file VAT and Payroll returns.
  • Maintain books and records for bookkeeping/advisory clients.
  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly management accounts to clients and provide valuable insights from these accounts.
  • Assist and train junior staff members.

What Skills You Need

  • Ideally 2+ years in practice
  • Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA (1/2 years)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
