About Your New Job
- Leverage Proprietary Data: Use unique data to power innovative tools addressing business challenges.
- Data Extraction and Visualization: Write SQL/Presto/Trino/Spark queries to extract necessary data and use Tableau for data visualization.
- Optimize and Automate: Take existing queries or narratives and optimize them for efficiency, building in automated checks and controls.
- Support and Enhance Tools: Handle support requests to ensure a bug-free user experience and implement enhancements to internal data tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build momentum for operational improvements and partner effectively with other teams.
- Data Evangelism: Promote the use of data in sales and represent the voice of customers.
What Skills You Need
- Data Analysis Experience: 3+ years of experience with data analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: 3+ years working with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Presto/Trino, Spark SQL, Tableau).
- Microsoft Suite Skills: 3+ years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Data Storytelling: Ability to turn data into insights and present to stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Expert knowledge of SQL, Hadoop (Presto/Spark), git, and Tableau.
