Production Technician - Organic Chemistry

About Your New Job

• You will manufacture batches in accordance with their SOPs including filling, capping and labelling where required
• You will maintain excellent housekeeping standards, in accordance with the 6S programme
• Your job is to carry out equipment checks and calibrations as per schedule
• You will liaise with support staff on materials requirements
• You will ensure all health and safety standards are complied with
• Troubleshooting production issues and work closely with/communicate with colleagues in QC and planning to ensure demand requirements are met within the allocated time frame
• You will be available for upskilling and cross-training where required
• You will contribute to functional and cross-functional teams as required

What You Need

• 3^rd level science qualification, preferably chemistry
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice and ISO 17025
• Understanding of batch manufacture  
• To be a team player with the ability to work off your own initiative
