A well-established company in West Cork is looking for a General Operative to join their Production Team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary, shift allowance, and opportunities for overtime.
Job Responsibilities
Operating production lines, packing products, and building pallets to meet targets.
Keeping the work area clean and safe by following all safety rules.
Reporting safety issues, equipment problems, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor.
Carrying out safety checks, hygiene inspections, and other procedures as required.
Working with the team to set up production lines, check product quality, and prepare materials.
Following all food safety, hygiene, and manufacturing guidelines (GMPs, SOPs).
Completing paperwork and records accurately.
Supporting improvements in production, food hygiene, and housekeeping.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery is an advantage.
Good attention to detail when inspecting, packing, and labeling products.
Understanding of food hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
A team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
