About your new job as a Process Technician – Evening Shift

  • Work as part of the Production Engineering support team to drive process improvements

  • Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and improving production methods and procedures

  • Take technical responsibility for OEE metrics, yield, and downtime

  • Escalate and help resolve critical downtime issues

  • Collaborate with the production team to prioritise daily and weekly actions

  • Communicate effectively during shift handovers to ensure seamless transitions

  • Manage and maintain spare parts inventory to reduce equipment downtime

  • Support equipment and product changeovers, implementing continuous improvements (SMED)

  • Assist in IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities and maintain area SOPs

  • Design, specify, manufacture, test, and document production equipment changes and improvements

  • Work with vendors and consultants as needed for equipment support and upgrades

What skill/experience you need as a Process Technician

  • Level 6 or Level 7 qualification in Engineering, Science, or related technical field (senior trade also acceptable)

  • 2+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally in medical devices

  • Experience with braiding, coiling, laser welding, catheter assembly, or packaging is an advantage

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
