Process Engineer Contractor

About Your New Employer

Join a gobal leader in automotive manufacturing. Due to expansion and new projects with BMW and Mercedes, this company based in Galway is seeking experienced Process Project Engineers to join their team.

We have:

(1) Hourly rate contractor options: These contracts will be for approximately eight to ten months - or more depending on the projects.

(2) Permanent jobs with the company, these include benefits.

About Your New Job

• Define Process Development Milestones
• Analyse RFQs to estimate the Process Set-Up Costs and Labour content.
• Perform & Lead Process & Logistics Reviews
• Define the Process Flow
• Perform Process FMEA
• Coordinate/Facilitate the DFM Reviews with relevant Design & Test Engineers for each Process Step on PFC.
• Complete Process Design Simulations – Cardboard Mock-Ups.
• Perform Lean Process Design Reviews – Phase by Phase.

What Skills You Need:

• Degree/Diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial/Electronics Engineering or Equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' experience of Lean Manufacturing Design, APQP, PPAP MSA, PFMEAs, DFM Rules & 5S.
• Experience in Project Managing the delivery of volume manufacturing solutions.
• Experience with CAD packages, AutoCAD, CADStart, SolidWorks, etc would be beneficial.
• Open on industry background.
