About your new job as a Process Engineer: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of initiative, capable of managing multiple responsibilities with a results-oriented approach to ensure the successful completion of projects assigned by the Quality and Technical Manager. These projects aim to help the plant meet its business goals and objectives in productivity, quality, and service. A proven ability to work effectively and proactively in a dynamic team environment is essential, along with a flexible and confident problem-solving capability.
The responsibilities of your new job:
- Implement suitable product and process changes to meet Customer Specific Requirements and the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure site compliance with customer requirements as well as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Perform Root-Cause Analysis using process and test data to implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Respond to manufacturing problems promptly to maintain and support production.
- Support and coordinate the implementation of capital investment programs.
- Understand and apply principles of Lean and Six Sigma to manage projects within a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program.
- Understand risk management and the process-based approach to quality, driving continuous improvements.
- Provide technical support on processing and process capabilities to Customer Service, Sales, and Quality Assurance.
- Support the implementation and upgrade of 'Manufacturing 4.0' into the facility.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required by the company.
What skill/experience you need as a Process Engineer
- Self-motivated with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Knowledge and experience with IATF core tools is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of pFMEA, 8D, DMAIC, and Kaizen processes is desirable.
- High level of proficiency with PC skills, including MS Office and Minitab.
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Chemistry.
