Job Title : Practice Manager

Our client is a well-established medical practice based in Wexford which has been operating for over 70 years and has grown dramatically in recent times.  Due to this continued growth and success they are seeking to hire a Practice Manager who will be responsible for the day to day management of the staff and business operations.

The Practice Manager will have an overview of key areas of the business including finance, human resources, operations, IT, strategy and marketing.  


Key Areas of Responsibility will include:


Financial Management

  • Reconciliation of daily charges and payments
  • Bank reconciliation (Income & Expenditure management)
  • Budgeting / Payroll management

Human Resource Management

  • Analyse roles and workflows
  • Recruit, select & induct new staff
  • Develop and maintain policies and employee handbook
  • Conduct staff appraisals, training and meetings

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day running of the practice
  • Improve the customer experience
  • Maintain premises, facilities and equipment
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels

Strategic Planning

  • Develop strategic goals and objectives & commercial development


  • Manage practice website and patient communication systems
  • Conduct advertising and promotion


Experience Required to be successful in the role as Practice Manager will include:

Min 7 years+ in a similar operational business role

People management skills

Advanced IT skills in all MS Office applications with good IT acumen

Budgeting and Financial reporting experience

Third Level Qualification
