We are currently working with a large-scale mechanical contractor based in the Midlands area. The company have an impressive portfolio of clients in the residential sector across Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Kildare, Roscommon and Meath.  They are looking to appoint multiple Plumbers in the Midlands area for temporary positions with a potential view of permanent placement. 

About Your New Job

As a Plumber you will be tasked with the following:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential properties, including water supply and drainage systems.
  • Troubleshoot and fix plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
  • Install and service heating systems, including boilers and radiators, ensuring proper operation and compliance with regulations.
  • Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent future issues.
  • Ensure all plumbing work meets safety standards and building regulations in accordance with Irish law.

What Skills & Requirements You Need

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.
  • FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Plumbing
  • Safe Pass & Manual Handling

What’s on Offer

This role is Monday-Friday 40 hours per week paid at the union rate. After 40 hours, the successful applicant will receive an overtime/double time rate. You will be exposed to working on residential projects all across the Midlands. Initially, this is a temporary role but this may extend to a permanent role for successful candidates.
