Applications are invited for the position of Planning Officer, based in South Dublin
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a range of projects across the extraction, manufacturing, energy, and waste sectors.
Reporting to the Director of Planning, Environment, and Property, the role will involve:
- Managing planning application projects for various developments, including extraction, manufacturing, and waste.
- Overseeing consultants involved in preparing planning applications, waste licenses, and trade discharge licenses.
- Reviewing and editing technical reports related to planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR), Appropriate Assessment (AA), waste license applications, and trade discharge.
- Providing guidance on planning compliance within the company.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in planning or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Irish planning system and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) regulations.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
