About Your New Job
- Project Management: Work specifically on a BLS project, responsible for initiating, developing, and maintaining detailed design and construction programmes, as well as procurement package programmes to meet project requirements.
- Critical Path Analysis: Responsible for Critical Path Analysis, L1 milestone definition, and program linkages.
- Client Presentations: Present weekly schedule updates to the client, aligned with Project Controls Data to establish Performance Against Schedule.
- Schedule Management: Align with Project Managers for schedule delays and prepare recovery and mitigation plans.
- Risk Integration: Integrate with the Risk Management and Risk Log process.
- Contract Support: Support Contract Management with formal notifications to/from clients and subcontractors.
- Schedule Integration: Integrate subcontractors and supply chain schedules into the master schedule, including resource loading and labour ramp profiles.
- Tender Planning: Responsible for initial tender planning during tender and pre-construction phases, ensuring realistic and achievable tender programmes.
- Progress Tracking: Collect data and update programmes to show progress or delays, providing weekly and/or monthly reports to the Project Manager.
- Procedure Adherence: Ensure adherence to current planning procedures or amend them to suit client/project needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with current planning methods and introduce advantageous practices into Exyte.
What Skills You Need
- Experience and Proficiency: Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in the Construction Industry in a planning and scheduling role, with experience in BLS/Pharmaceutical projects. Proficient in P6 Primavera, Powerproject, MS Project, Excel, and Word.
- Technical and Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional organization and coordination skills, and a thorough understanding of proven scheduling techniques and practices, including Critical Path Analysis and resource loading.
