Job description

My client a leading brand have a requirement for a Payroll Manager with 4 years or more payroll exp. You will report to the Financial Controller and be involved in all aspects of payroll

About Your New Job

  • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of monthly payroll inputs for four Irish and two Northern Irish entities
  • Preparation of payroll bank files;
  • Ensuring the payment of all deductions at source
  • Providing detailed reconciliations of each payroll run;
  • Ensuring strict adherence with all Revenue and HMRC requirements;
  • Responding to all payslip queries from employees
  •  Reconciling all payroll accounts back to the general ledger;
  • Reviewing and processing employee expense claims
  • Providing such other financial assistance as may be required
  • Advising the Finance Director on ongoing changes in statutory requirements;
  • Mentoring, supporting and developing other finance team members as support for the payroll function.
  • Assist with special projects associated with the payroll function;
  • Ensure all local reporting obligations during the year and at year end are adhered to;
  • Prepare documentation and work with auditors as part of annual audit obligations;



  • 3+ years of payroll experience
  • IPASS qualified
  • Knowledge of Sage and Earnie payroll software desirable
