About your new job
- Oversee transport of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Schedule shipments, track progress, and resolve logistics issues promptly.
- Coordinate with vendors on production timelines and shipping plans.
- Partner with warehouse and trading teams to manage inventory and maintain food-safety standards.
- Provide shipment updates and handle customer inquiries.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overages.
- Verify warehouse compliance with food-grade regulations.
- Prepare and process shipment invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Work with finance to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Keep detailed records of logistics, inventory, and customer transactions.
- Generate reports on logistics performance and compliance.
- Address customer concerns quickly to ensure satisfaction.
- Recommend and support process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Input and maintain accurate data within company systems.
