Operations Manager - €70k - €80k DOE 

An exciting new opportunity has become available for an operations manager position, if you are coming from an electronic manufacturing background or similar and have experience with subcontractor management I would love to hear from you.

About Your New Role 

• Efficiently manage production schedules, processes, and product/project deliveries to meet customer requirements, schedules, and specifications.
• Plan and schedule subcontract manufacturing partners, suppliers, and internal resources to align with production, testing, quality, and delivery needs.
• Forecast and oversee procurement activities, ensuring products are acquired in line with lead times, customer orders, cost-effective batch sizes, and lot sizes.
• Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to facilitate the successful and timely introduction of new products, including the development of necessary test equipment.
• Assist in decision-making related to new product introductions, particularly regarding manufacturability and testability.
• Identify, address root causes, and drive corrective and preventative actions for any production issues.
• Proactively identify opportunities for product and process quality and cost enhancements.
• Maintain current product pricing based on product and operational costs.

What Skills You Need

• A diverse range of engineering technical skills across various industries.
• Background in manufacturing and testing of electronic products, along with supporting production and test processes.
• Prior Subcontractor Experience. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Proven technical skills and strong commercial acumen
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office)
