About Your New Job

As an NPI Engineer, you will be a key member of the engineering team, working within a multidisciplinary framework. This role involves:

  • Developing new manufacturing processes, device concepts, and validating new technology and methods.
  • Focusing on the development and manufacture of catheter-based technology to treat ischemic stroke.
  • Contributing to both manufacturing and device design and development.

What Skills You Need

  • Degree in Engineering: NFQ Level 8 Degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 Years’ Experience: In the medical device industry with strong catheter experience.
  • Hands-On Mindset: Ability to rapidly prototype product and fixture concepts using standard equipment and techniques such as 3D printing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Modelling and analysis of mechanical systems using SolidWorks or similar software.
  • Experience with Medical Device Polymers: Essential for working within a catheter manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly to others in different functions and at various levels.
  • Team Player: Enjoy contributing to and participating in a dynamic team environment.
