About the Role
A leading facilities management company is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Dublin, Ireland. Due to continued success with prestigious long-term clients, we are expanding and looking for a highly skilled technician with HVAC or Mechanical qualifications.
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all reactive and planned maintenance tasks. This includes working on chillers, split systems, close control units, VRV/VRFs, AHUs, extracts, general services, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, containment, protective services, and building fabric maintenance and repairs.

What You Will Do as a Mechanical HVAC Technician
- Diagnose and repair comfort cooling & CRAC units
- Safely handle refrigerants and pressurized gases
- Carry out planned maintenance in line with contract requirements
- Respond to and complete reactive maintenance requests
- Use the client’s online ticket system and CMMS/CAFM system for job management
- Implement preventative measures to ensure equipment longevity and business continuity
- Maintain accurate asset lists and service records
- Review third-party risk assessments and manage permits
- Support on-site minor works projects and assist in larger refurbishments, fit-outs, or new builds
- Attend client meetings as required
- Conduct weekly building walkthroughs to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Maintain clean and safe plant areas
What You Will Need
- HVAC Or Mechanical qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical/HVAC maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
- Familiarity with building management systems and CMMS/CAFM platforms
